This was just a place for me to vent to the world. Now it is a place where I can try to carry a message of anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-sexism and anti-idiot. Unfortunately there are plenty these people in this world. This is my corner of the world where I can say what is right. That gives me the power to say it and live it in real life too.
If you’re like me, you won’t be able to protest at the rich white people’s festival known as the Republican Convention in Tampa. So here’s a suggestion: hit the the click-through link and join the GOP’s “Convention Without Walls.” They say they want to hear our stories. Let’s tell them about unemployment, corporate greed, foreclosures, sweat shops, minimum-wage employment. Oh, and we might as well note our disgust over the mean-spirited attitude towards gays, the impoverished and single parents.
I’m serious. Let’s make it hurt.
