Pro-lifers honestly believe we invented abortion in the last few decades or so.

This is a Jezebel interview with Lila Rose, a pro-lifer who says she’d do anything to protect life - you know, except for adopting special needs children, increasing access to sex education, or really doing anything other than publishing heavily-edited sting videos of Planned Parenthood.

When they says things like this, when they imply that abortion is NEW and that Roe v. Wade was the BEGINNING of abortion, as opposed to the end of gruesome illegal abortions, it just reminds me how unbelievably delusional and misinformed these people are. And how sad it is that their ignorance affects laws in this country.
